I'm a backend-focused software engineer with 5+ years of experience designing and building production systems — from high-throughput payment APIs to full-stack SaaS platforms. My primary focus is backend architecture: REST API design, relational database modeling, background job processing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Most recently I've been embedded in a B2B fintech product team, building across payment workflows, invoice management, settlements, and reconciliation. On the side I build and ship my own products — from an exam analytics platform to a matchmaking platform with real-time messaging and AI recommendations.

I work primarily with NestJS, TypeScript, and Laravel on the backend, and reach for React or Inertia.js when the product needs a frontend. I care about clean API contracts, solid database design, and systems that are easy to reason about and maintain.

I work with AI coding assistants to ship faster — architecture, design, and review always owned end-to-end.

Outside work: sci-fi shows, video games, and occasionally breaking things in my homelab.
